Enjoy Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo Ueno Park

作者:Frank

Enjoying cherry (also known as sakura) blossoms in spring is one of must-to-do activities in Japan. In fact, you don't have to go to parks to watch the flowers. From the end of March, cherry blossoms can be seen almost everywhere. The following four pictures are the cherry trees near a primary school in our neibhorhood. In my childhood, there were almost none flowers in the primary school. Actually I do not feel bad for that, because I may have suffered from pollen allergic rhinitis earlier if so.

To increase the sense of ceremony, we went to Ueno Park, one of the flower attractions in Tokyo on March 27. It's a pity that the weather was cloudy, which greatly reduced the beauty of cherry blossoms. But even so, there were still many tourists.

We also rented a boat, the most basic one. One of the advantages of being a cameraman in my family is that my wife took care of all the boating work. This manual labor was nothing for her in order to take poses on the water. There were many boats on the lake. We also enjoyed playing bumper boats.

Looking at the tourists walking on the shore from the boat, we seem all playing in the paintings shown in front of each others' eyes.
